Dakota’s past shed light on her egotistical and irate behavior and the reasons she and Landon remained together. While I realize that her terrible past wouldn’t be an excuse to treat Landon in the manner she did, I found myself rooting for her as I realized her complicated and problematic character. Although she could be seen as unlikable at first, I found her to be able to recover some of her personality towards the end.

It was also my discovery that Nora had her eye on Landon even before they all moved to New York. Although she stated numerous times she wasn’t looking for another partnership, she and Landon may never be together in a real way. However, she has never stopped keeping her distance from him. She even encouraged Landon to go towards her. Landon may have been confused and irritated. So did I!

It was impossible to miss Nora’s voice when she used the constant fact video game with Landon. I didn’t recognize her until 7 pages of secrets were revealed. Before the story ended, I counted the pages.

Landon’s character is not like mine. I cannot say that he transformed into a butterfly. While he changed a little bit, I believe he was able to make his own choices and be independent. Dakota may have been hurt by his choice to Nora but he was still the Mr. Nice guy I knew he was.

The story was clear and concise, with deeper concerns about self-Bullying and destruction. Although I can’t say I enjoyed it, it was certainly more enjoyable than I expected. I was also happy with how Landon and Nora ended up.

This is the final installment. Nothing More, and Absolutely Nothing Much less is a story that shows us that we cannot always place others on top, when we have nothing to offer and can’t give what has been taken from us. It was realizing that expecting to have a happy ever after with our first love was a mistake. There are many paths that we can take to get there.
