My favorite emotions thrillers keep me on my toes, but have a satisfying ending. This book did not disappoint. I read it in just two days. This is purely because I was forced to give attention to my family. This book is so well-written and will keep your family connected. I appreciated the fact that there were no surprises, as they often are in thrillers.

I thought at times that I might be able to see the progression, but I was also surprised when it stopped going in my favor. This isn’t a heart-in-the-mouth thriller. There is no unjustified violence. This is my fourth. Lisa Jewell Novel and also I am a big fan. Her writing style and the way she keeps me absorbed in the story is what I love. I found myself becoming more familiar with a few of the characters and the more I reviewed them. We are able to learn more about the key personalities through multiple POVs. It reached around seventy-five percent and was unputdownable after so many shockers were thrown at it. I am pretty sure I was just talking to myself about what was happening!
