This tale is beyond the pale of heart. It is downright brutal at times, and the language as well subject matter are so complex that adults need to think carefully before allowing their younger teens to read it. There are important lessons for older teens and those who have been there a long time. It’s refreshing to see the world from a middle eastern perspective, even if you are an American born and bred. Although I don’t know if I can say that I enjoyed this publication, I found it extremely enriching. book I found it fascinating and very satisfying.
