A Wonderfully written novel that follows the lives and adventures of Mariam (and Laila) two Covering Females.
They are from diverse backgrounds, but they experience the exact same difficulties, discomfort, and also suffering in changing Afghanistan.
I don’t want to write more about the story, because I don’t want to spoil it for anyone who hasn’t yet read it.

Sincere truth be told, I did not expect to complete this publication. I managed to get through the first 50 pages, and then I assumed there was no way I could finish it. I managed to get through the first 100 pages, and I assumed that I will have to stop reading it. You can see that I completed it and feel compelled rate it 5 stars.

This is * not * light analysis. It is extraordinarily heartwarming-It is a wrenching experience from beginning to finish. It is a nightmare from beginning to end. It was also a book I couldn’t put down. Guide’s personality dynamics were so complicated, that eventually they seemed real people. Mariam’s unwavering spirit is beautiful, inspiring, heartbreaking, and a constant source of strength. Even in times of war, both friendship and love eventually prevail.

Although I wish it were so for these women, until people change their mind points won’t be much different for them.
