This is the second publication in the Isobel/Chris saga. I must say that I enjoyed reading it. This is a standalone collection. However, you will probably get more from it if you have read the welcome-to-hell series, the hecks princess collection, and the wickedest witch. While they can be read as standalones, I was struck by a few parallel events. Jilted Prince This publication is the 2nd in the Hells Kid Series that began with Lazy Son. As I enjoyed the first publication, I also thoroughly enjoyed this one. Careless Son is well worth a look if you’re not familiar with it. If this is your first time watching the series, I recommend starting with book One and also moving to Jilted The Royal Prince.
