This carefully researched publication uses the current vocabulary to describe points that have different usage. I didn’t know what “pole” meant (p. 83). I lost the meaning of the phrase “where horse was taken from between the thills and also put in a delay” p. 201. What is a thill? The Kindle’s provided thesaurus wasn’t always helpful. Either there wasn’t an interpretation or it didn’t make sense in context. More research gave me the answer and I regarded the obstacle as solved.
