This book It was simply amazing! It was a combination of Indiana Jones as well as Tomb Raider. However, it also had its own twist. This ending was the best twist, and it also showed how much risk these authors take to leave readers hanging. This book is for adventure lovers and those who enjoy stories that focus on strange artifacts that are valuable to both academics and scavengers. But the treasure described could be even more dangerous than a payoff or a piece in a museum. I’m so ready for the sequel! It was a non-stop, heart beating, adrenaline-suffering ride! Although there were many twists and turns in this publication, I was able to see the larger picture from a distance. I did see the positive side of this. It was right up to the very last page that I was being convinced that my idea about how it would finish was incorrect. This is a win for me because even though I saw completion coming, I felt like I was wrong for as long as I was amazed at how I was right.

Jules and Mia have such wonderful personalities. Their relationship was very well developed and I enjoyed their personal growth. I like characters that aren’t “excellent”, but also feel like real people with flaws and quirks. It is amazing how the globe building works. The dystopian theme of this story was a delight to me. It also feels legal and possible. It felt a bit slow.-It was slow at the beginning but it picked up once I was connected! Legally, I could not put the story down once it started to roll.

I liked the fact that Jules and Mia did not get along from the beginning. That there was some worry in between them, but also the recognition of the need for each other. It’s not until later in the story that they feel at ease around one another. I felt that they matched each others very well.

I like the way they judged one another, as we all do (not intentionally), before they also understood each others, due to it providing us with the opportunity to witness their perceptions change, expand, and evolve. It was amazing to see their personalities grow, even though it took so little time. They moved from using each other to achieve their goals to actually looking out and being concerned for each other’s safety. It was great to see Jules be content with Mia’s capabilities and abilities. I also liked the fact that Mia wanted to protect both their safety and survival. It is a shame that she did not have the chance to share her thoughts with Jules. I was hurt and betrayed by seeing his emotions.
