Over the years I have struggled to find books I like, and turned to recommendations, old favourites, and veteran authors in order to re-learn why I enjoy reading. Misery Audiobook Free. As I have done with my negative reviews, I wish that I could go on about this. Annie Wilkes is definitely a bananas. She is delusional, paranoid and a terrible psychotic. The ‘wicked’ in the book It is always frightening to me to be an actual person and not a paranormal entity. Even without mythological assistance, people can do some pretty awful things. TORMENT is a prime example. Annie’s personality caused me to feel both compassion and disgust as I read. I felt both hate/fear for her and it was really sad for her. Amazing life for a dog!
I felt a little numb from the publication. Paul Sheldon’s ability to endure the pain and persevere through all of the abuse is amazing. I felt awful for him.
