I was shocked by the ending. After having read this publication, I decided to buy more women’s magazines to break free from the hardboiled enigmas that I had been reading. I enjoyed the fact that this publication was widely circulated and that the mystery kept me guessing. I was happy to know that the police were honest and could have come up with a different outcome.
