The structure of Cloud Atlas Six stories are interconnected, each one covering a different period or type of composition. Each story is only partially informed, starting with Adam Ewing’s 1850 pacific travelogue, and moving on to Robert Frobisher’s 1930’s Europe period piece, Luisa REY’s 1973 action thriller, Timothy Cavendish’s ‘dreadful problem’ in 2000, and finally Somni’s sci-fi.-fi stry starting in 2144. and Zachary’s mysterious tale of island life from the future. These stories are written in fantastic prose that instills humor, terror, and as much fear as the story requires. The stories are arranged in reverse order once they reach the middle.
These tales all stand out in their own way and are quite well-written. However, they are not without their flaws. Pacing is the main problem. However, it is the interaction between the stories that truly places the emphasis. Cloud Atlas It’s too much. All of these stories are set in the same world as the Bone Clocks. This part is haunting, and it will stay with me for a long time. That is what makes this great publication worth rereading time and time again. Then move on to the next before reaching the climax of our previous lives? This is so precise you can squeeze out any bits that reoccur from lifetime to lifetime. It ends with each age cascading backwards. I found it fascinating and I was able to read it much faster.
It gives you a broad view of humanity and how all the things we do add up to who we will be as individuals as well as as humanity. It has made me question my beliefs and challenged my notion of who I am. I’ve seen it five times since I bought it in 2012, and it never gets tired. book. It is remarkable because it takes place over 6 different time periods, but has the exact same repeated themes that are all throughout. Each theme has its own symbolism, such as unburying treasures throughout the fascinating and electrifying read. This book will always be a part of my heart because it offers insight into human weaknesses and hopes for a better tomorrow.
