I enjoyed the world-building and character development, as well as the use of mythical numbers and the flow of the story. The tale pulled at me and kept me hooked until the end.
This author is a master of words. At times, I hold my breath and at other times, I giggle with delight.
I urge you to read it. I know you’ll love it just as much as me. I must admit that I haven’t explored a lot of urban fantasy but I took the plunge. I was not disappointed. The action begins in the middle of the action, as the criminal sis battles desert sand monsters. The action builds from there. I liked the personalities and was curious about their origins. (They’re Unknowns. But what exactly? They don’t know. The story has a bit of a love interest, but it isn’t overwhelming the narrative. The writer is also a master at using words to describe the settings for the beautiful cities of the desert, the Scottish Highlands, as well as Venice. It’s like Indiana Jones meets Buffy the Vampire Killer. The history and the strong female protagonist are both included. I also appreciated the little extra note at the conclusion, which described more in depth many of the entities and locations encountered. (There was a real Vampire of Venice. This publication was full of adventure and action. Because they don’t know they are real, the sis of the MC are lost in mystery. The kiss was a success. It was unfortunate to learn what transpired after. There was some sexual tension between Bree & Cade. They could be great and wonderful together, and they would make fantastic partners. Enjoy the fact that sis enigma’s facet is still the exact same at the end. But they recognize that somebody is still looking for them, which keeps us thinking and also wanting more. I would like to know more about Cade exchange and Bree. Enjoy this first installment of Bree’s story! Bree and Ana were interesting characters in Del’s series Nix, Cass, & Del. So I was happy when LH offered them their own collection! This publication was my first and I have been waiting eagerly for it!

Cade is hotter than I thought possible, especially after Roarke, Aiden and also Ares, who were all part of the original 3 Dragon’s Present collection. LH did it! As fascinating as Cass/Aiden, Del/Roarke, and as unique as Cade are, Bree and Cade are.

The characters are alive and well-written. I find myself lost in the world and stories of guides. Although I’ve reviewed literally hundreds of books, it can be hard to please. However, I found this. book It was amazing! Bree’s next installment is something I look forward to so much! This was much more than I had expected. The guide’s start was a little confusing with the madmax opening but it is great. Bree is strong and very sexy. I love how committed she is towards her siblings, no matter what she’s been through. This is a combination of previous series but it also stands by itself.
