This is the second in a series. Each publication is a unique tale with a different character. Each book can be read on its own, with no significant cliffhangers. However, it is still much better and more enjoyable to be part of a series. Sometimes the stories of other characters aren’t as good as the ones before them. This is definitely not one of these. The The writer does a great job and you still feel the emotions of the characters. When you love, it is a book It can make you laugh, cry, or both. Highly recommended and looking forward to the next book. This is one of those collections that is hard to put down. Cassius is my favorite book, and I need to finish it!

We discover so much in Untouchable Darkness. We learn about Sareil’s region. We discover how Cassius works, and we are horrified to see Stephanie function and learn how she will be the fall of the King.

I love the immortals as well as the humans. Cassius is my love, but can he get through Stephanie? Will they be able to get through each other? Will Alex, Mason, Ethan, and Genesis make it through what lies ahead? What will Sariel, the female lead, have to share about all of this? The darkness is determined to hold. Can the light prevail?

Although I don’t know what the future holds, I cannot wait to discover it!

I have been absorbed. It’s the darkness that calls, as well as light. It’s a beautiful light, but can it see through the darkness? Cassius will he be able to bear the loss of the woman he loves? Cassius’s story continues the saga. It offers more than just a romance between Cassius and Stephanie. We learn how the Dark Ones come from; which itself was quite remarkable.

Cassius’s life was a lot clearer. Given that he is still human from the previous publication we can see how he comes to terms with his human side. He has blocked the part of his self that is causing him pain. Being human was his only option.

The rest of his friends and Stephanie were able to see him in a new light. He is so different from the way they had actually seen him. Cassius’ humor, inexperience and small insecurities were a bright spot for him as he discovered that he didn’t have the power he needed to do his job. Dark One and their King.

She has a way of bringing you into a story, and keeping you there till the end. You will both be satisfied and want more. I want more of her world and the people she has given me, but not more of this particular story. I think I could easily follow her through 20 publications without ever feeling lost, tired, or repetitive.
